Men’s hoops inks two recruits

Grand Valley State University men’s basketball head coach Ric Wesley recently announced the addition of two high school players, Drake Baar and Rashaud Orange, who have signed their letters of intent to join the team for the 2014-2015 season.

Baar is a six-foot-eight forward who averaged 9.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game while playing at Comstock Park High School. He was named to the all-conference team last season.

Orange, a six-foot-four guard, has played at a few different schools while traveling with his father who is in the United States Army. He most recently averaged 12.0 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game at Creston High School in Grand Rapids, Mich. He was also named to the all-conference squad.
