GV to participate in National Day of Service

On Saturday, Grand Valley State University faculty, staff and students will meet at 3 p.m. at the Loosemore Auditorium for a day of service. Volunteers will be disassembling electronics for recycling at Comprenew and sorting food donations for Feeding America. The projects are in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., and are a part of the National Day of Service. The event was organized by the Community Service Learning Center and the MLK Week Executive Planning Committee. Reservations are no longer being accepted, but walk-ins will be approved pending space.
