Journalist to discuss North American regional cultures

Award-winning journalist and historian Colin Woodard will be visiting Grand Valley State University this week to discuss his fourth book, “American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America.” As a guest of the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies, Woodard will present the histories of the regions and explain how the conflicts between them has shaped the past and will mold the future of the U.S. Woodard will be at the Loosemore Auditorium at the DeVos Center this Thursday at 7 p.m. To register for the event, visit www.HauensteinCenter.org.
