GVSU teams travel to take on LSSU

The Grand Valley State University men’s and women’s basketball teams, which are both coming off 2-2 home stands, will be back in action tonight in a pair of road games at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.

The Laker women will tip off in hopes of improving their 9-8 GLIAC record after winning one of their most impressive games of the season against Michigan Technological University 72-64 on Saturday. Senior guard Dani Crandall scored a career-high 28 points in the victory.

The nightcap will feature another all-Laker showdown between the Laker men and No. 20 LSSU. GVSU claimed a 75-70 victory when the teams last met at the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale on Jan. 23.

Both games will be broadcast online and on the radio. The women’s game will start at 5:30 p.m. before the men’s teams tip off at 7:30 p.m.
