PAS to help host conference for National Eating Disorder Awareness Week

Students and faculty members from the Physician Assistant Students department, in conjunction with the Michigan Eating Disorders Alliance and Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center, will help host a free conference for area girls and their parents. The conference, titled “everyBODY is Beautiful,” will take place today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences. Sessions during the conference will be targeted towards girls and adults with a special focus on self-esteem and healthy eating.
