Social theorist and scholar to present on feminism

Social theorist, author and educator Patricia Hill Collins is this year’s presenter at the annual Intersections Program sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Women’s Center and the LGBT Resource Center. The presentation, “We Who Believe in Freedom Cannot Rest: Lessons from Black Feminism,” will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Grand River Room of the Kirkhof Center. Collins is the 100th president the American Sociological Association and the first African American woman to be elected to this position.
