Internationally recognized writer to visit GV campuses

The works of writer Kama Sywor Kamanda will be celebrated at Grand Valley State University through a series of events. Kamanda has written hundreds of stories and novels and more than a dozen volumes of poetry, all in French. Many have been translated into Japanese, Italian, Greek and English. There will be a poetry reading and book signing on March 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Loosemore Auditorium at the DeVos Center. On March 25, Kamanda will be at the Grand River Room in the Kirkhof Center from 11 a.m. to noon.
