Women’s Commission

The Grand Valley State University Women’s Commission will host a fall welcome lunch at noon today in the Pere Marquette Room in the Kirkhof Center. Jessica Jenrich, director of the Women’s Center, will be speaking at the event.

The Women’s Commission works to promote equality and social justice for all women on campus. The organization has been hosting events and providing resources since a 1996 climate study showed that women on campus were not content. The Women’s Commission and the Women’s Center cosponsor the Her Story series, which highlights women in leadership positions at GVSU.
