Sundstrom, GVSU men's lacrosse down Dayton 14-9

The No. 3 Grand Valley State men’s club lacrosse team defeated the No. 5 Dayton Flyers by a score of 14-9 Saturday, March 25, at Rockford High School in Rockford, Michigan. The Lakers improved to 4-1 while the Flyers fell to 6-2.

GVSU women's hockey falls to Miami-Ohio in national championship series

The Grand Valley State women’s club hockey team dropped both of their games against Miami- Ohio in the national championship series played in Columbus, Ohio. The Lakers fell 4-2 in game one Wednesday, March 15, and the Redhawks clinched the series win over the Lakers 2-1 Thursday, March 16.

GVSU D2 club hockey falls in semifinals of ACHA National Championship

After a month-long hiatus awaiting the ACHA Division II National Championship tournament, the Grand Valley State men’s club hockey team (DII) finally stepped onto the ice willing to prove itself as the nation’s top team starting Wednesday, March 15, in Columbus, Ohio.

GVSU dodgeball sweeps Blast from the Past tournament

The No. 1 ranked Grand Valley State club dodgeball team defended their home floor in victories over the Central Michigan Chippewas and Michigan State Spartans by scores of 3-1 and 2-0, respectively. The matches were part of the Blast from the Past Tournament held at the Fieldhouse Arena Saturday, Feb. 25.

Allen, Myers help 2017 U.S. Women's National Team to bronze medal in Kazakhstan

Most championship medals weigh about one pound, but to the two Grand Valley State women who won bronze medals Monday, Feb. 6, it felt a lot heavier than that. “To be able to lean over and have a five pound medal put on your neck was an indescribable experience for me,” said GVSU goaltender Lauren Allen, as tears welled up in her eyes.
