GVSU women's golf aided by Canadian duo

The Grand Valley State women’s golf team has only six spots on its 2016 roster. With Michigan known for its abundance of golf courses and quality high school golf programs, filling the roster in-state would be easy. Even with the local talent, GVSU continues to recruit out-of-state, and even out of the country.

GVSU edged for Motor City Invitational title

The Grand Valley State men’s golf team ended its 2015 fall campaign with a tough second-place finish at the Motor City Invitational on Monday. The Lakers finished with a total score of 624 (+48), a single stroke behind Wayne State’s 623 (+47). GVSU's first-day score of 318 set it back, and, entering the final day, GVSU trailed the Warriors by 10 strokes.
