GVSU summer staff updates

In May, Grand Valley State University’s Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Eileen Sullivan requested a leave of absence and the college granted it, according to GVSU President Thomas Haas. Sullivan started working at GVSU in July of 2016. Her leave began Tuesday, May 9. Stephen Glass has since stepped in as acting vice provost for student affairs and dean of students.

Making summer plans with T. Haas

For Thomas Haas, the president of Grand Valley State University, the summer really begins after commencement. With activity on campus slowing down in the summer months, Haas is able to relax and unwind while preparing for the business of the fall and winter semesters. Whether it’s traveling, spending time with family, dining with donors or playing a game of golf with some friends, the GVSU president stays busy with both work and leisure.
