ACES brings awareness to spring break safety

One of Grand Valley State University’s highest priorities is student safety, which is why ACES – Alcohol Campus Education Services – strives to ensure students make healthy life-long decisions regarding alcohol and drugs. ACES is a campus program that offers resources for students who are either struggling with addiction or substance abuse, or know someone who is.

Tech showcase enhances student connection

Nearly 10,000 students have walked past it, but only a handful has walked through its doors. What lies behind those doors is GVSU’s Technology Showcase, a room that not only features the latest and most innovative pieces of technology, but also serves as a resource for students to learn how that technology can be incorporated in education.

Leadership experience highlights skill sets

FYLE is a six week session that aims to sculpt students into those who know how to utilize leadership skills to motivate, build respect and network with other leadership-minded peers. The program is also designed to enhance a student's personal philosophy of leadership while developing basic leadership skills and learning about the many leadership opportunities offered throughout GVSU.
