Developing 'Locker Lifestyle'

Sometimes all you need is just a simple idea. You may have once bragged to your friends that you had that infamous “billion dollar idea,” but because of other time commitments, lack of passion and dedication to the project, that idea never became a reality. However, some of us are more dedicated than others. And in the case of Grand Valley State women's tennis player Katarina Samardzija, she committed to go all the way with her idea.

GVSU men's tennis wins two, drops one in three-game road trip

Having not played in the state of Michigan since February, the Grand Valley State men’s tennis team has become no stranger to long bus rides, hotels and adapting to other court conditions. However, those road conditions didn’t wear out the No. 36 nationally ranked Lakers as they won two of their three games against regionally ranked teams this weekend.

GVSU women's tennis goes 2-1 on road trip

After suffering its sixth loss of the season to Detroit Mercy Sunday, March 19, the Grand Valley State women’s tennis team had to bounce back on a weekend road trip. Even with long bus rides and hotel stays, the Lakers walked away from their three-game weekend with two wins and one loss, bringing their overall record to 18-7.

2017 GVSU men's tennis preview

The Grand Valley State men’s tennis team is just days away from the beginning of the winter semester of competition. With a bitter taste still lingering from the shortcomings of last season, the Lakers are poised and ready to make 2017 one of the greatest in Laker history.
