Knee injury ends Laker center’s season

Though the men’s basketball team was unsuccessful in their loss to the Hillsdale College, the final score was not the biggest loss for Grand Valley State University on Friday night. Rather, it was the horrifying opening minutes as the team witnessed the fall of one of their true leaders this season.

Going up strong for a layup in the lane, junior center Mike Pryzdzial took a vicious fall landing on his right knee during the opening minutes of Friday night’s matchup with the Chargers.

Throughout the first half of Friday night’s 61-53 GLIAC semifinal loss to Hillsdale College at the University of Findlay, there was a lack of mental focus which only spelled doom for the Grand Valley State University men’s basketball team.
