GVSU tennis team loses twice

The Grand Valley State University men’s tennis team had its five-match winning streak come to an end over the weekend with back-to-back 6-3 losses to Wayne State University and Northwood University.

Wayne State picked up wins in four of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches on Saturday against the Lakers. Senior Andrew Darrell and freshman Billy Heckman claimed GVSU’s only victories individually.

GVSU fell by the same score once again on Sunday, as Heckman supplied the team’s lone individual win at Northwood.
