The Grand Valley State University men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams were both ranked among the top four teams in the nation according to the Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II National Team Computer Rankings released Tuesday.

The No. 2 GVSU women scored 200.39 points and finished behind Lincoln (Mo.) University, the reigning national champion, which had 237.98 points.

The No. 4 GVSU men scored 123.59 points and trailed Ashland University (204.97), Adams State University (217.09) and the 2013 champions of Saint Augustine’s University (233.10).

Both Laker squads finished fourth at nationals a season ago.
