The Grand Valley State University Hauenstein Center is sponsoring Francis Fukuyama at 7 p.m. tonight in the Eberhard Center on the Pew Campus. The event is LIB 100/LIB 201 approved.

Francis Fukuyama wrote the book “Origins of Political Order” as an examination of how societies develop strong, impersonal institutions. He also looks at how corruption affects different governments throughout the world. “Political Order and Political Decay,” Fukuyama’s newest book, will be sold and signed at the event.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Visit www.hauensteincenter.org/events-calendar/, or contact Tori VanDragt at (616) 331-2770 for more information.
