Macklemore plays ‘Best show of 2013, hands down’ at Michigan State University

There was no shortage of fur coats or thrift shop finds at Michigan State University Tuesday night as thousands of fans packed the Breslin Center to see one of hip-hops hottest new artists.And after MSU students broke out in a Go Green Go White chant amping up energy in the almost sold-out venue Macklemore knew exactly where he was.I see why Magic Johnson went to this school he said to the crowd.

Graduate student shares family connection to Titanic

On April 14 1912 the Titanic struck an iceberg and did exactly what everyone said it couldnt sink claiming more than 1500 lives. More than 100 years later the sinking remains to be one of the worlds most devastating and fascinating shipwrecks. The stories from that cold night continue to live on depicted through Hollywood films grim underwater footage and the latest exhibit at the Grand Rapids Public Museum Titanic The Artifact Exhibition.
