No. 18 GVSU rolls in weekend matches

The No. 18 Grand Valley State volleyball team picked up a pair of victories over the weekend beating GLIAC opponents Wayne State in straight sets (25-23, 25-12, 25-21) and Saginaw Valley State (26-24, 26-28, 25-17, 25-19) to open up conference play.

Top GVSU senior earns another season

With the fall sports season getting underway, graduated student-athletes across the country wishing they could turn back the clock to relive their glory days. While they can only dream, Grand Valley State volleyball senior captain Kourtney Wolters will actually get to live out that fantasy.

GVSU goes 3-1 in opening tournament

After losing the home opener to Concordia-Portland in four sets (21-25, 25-13, 21-25, 17-25), the Grand Valley State volleyball team bounced back emphatically to win its next three matches in straight sets at the 2015 GVSU Laker Riverfront Classic.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Grand Valley State volleyball players Abby Aiken, Christina Canepa, Clair Ruhenkamp and Ally Simmons labored through a 14-13 season as freshman in 2011. It was the worst season in coach Deanne Scanlon’s 20-year tenure as head coach.
